Log Cabin Renovation

This project began with an aging log cabin where much of the original wood had rotted away. The front porch had originally been installed off-square, so we carefully removed and rebuilt it to bring the structure back into alignment. In addition, a faux chimney that was no longer serving a purpose was removed to improve both the look and integrity of the home. For the exterior, we covered the existing logs with T11 siding, providing a fresh, durable surface. At the homeowner’s request, we finished the project with a striking bold blue paint color—chosen as a meaningful personal touch so she could enjoy its vibrancy for as long as possible. The result is a solid, revitalized home with a unique character that beautifully reflects the client’s vision.
